In graduate school, I always learned about the importance of the therapeutic relationship between you and your client. Relationships are created through connections and the first step in this creation is to get to know each other, so here is a little bit about myself: Where I am from is a difficult question for me to answer because I always want to say that I am citizen of the world without sounding too cliché. In light of this I have to give an explanation. I was born in Afghanistan, lived in Pakistan, became a citizen in Norway and spent many summers in Germany before becoming a graduate student in California to start studying Psychology.
